Self-portrait after a 10-hour march. I travelled largely at night...it´s easier to set up camp in the light of dawn than in darkness, and the first poor weather spell ended with a clear, cold night, so I simply packed up and headed out. I´m wearing a neoprene mask to prevent frostbite, a balaclava, the shell suit hood, and a headlamp (I had a good moon for about a week and rarely needed the headlamp).
